Prampram: Firefighters battle industrial fire

An industrial fire has broken at a factory and a warehouse in Prampram in the Greater Accra Region prompting a large-scale emergency response from the Ghana National Fire Service.
Firefighters drawn from Prampram, Devtraco, Ashaiman, and the Tema Regional Headquarters have been mobilised to the scene and are actively working to bring the situation under control.
According to the Ghana National Fire Service in the Tema Region, additional fire tenders have been dispatched to reinforce the ongoing operation to curtail the late afternoon inferno which occurred on Friday May 1, 2026
As of 7pm, firefighters were making frantic efforts to bring the fire under control, safeguard lives and property.
