Ministry organises Homofest float in Accra

The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts has organised a float through the principal streets of Accra as part of activities marking this year's Ga Dangme festival "Homofest".

The annual festival affords the chiefs and people of Ga-Dangme the platform to showcase their rich and diverse culture and creative arts potential to both the local and international communities.

This year’s celebration is dubbed “Unity and Development”.

The celebration is held after all the various festivals by the Ga Dangme people.

Activities marking the festival are being organised by the ministry in collaboration with the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Traditional Affairs, the Greater Accra Coordinating Council, the Greater Accra House of Chiefs and the 16 municipal and district assemblies within the Greater Accra Region.
