MTN Foundation presents gifts to new babies
MTN Ghana Foundation presented 20 hampers to babies born on Christmas day and Boxing day at the Cape Coast Teaching hospital.
The gesture was to show love which is the reason for the festivities and was as part of the telecommunication giant’s social responsibility.
The hampers contained baby dresses, toiletries and disinfectants and toys.

The Sales Manager of MTN in charge Central and Western regions, Mr Prince Owusu Nyarkoh in a brief statement said Christmas was a season to share and to put smiles of the faces of others.
He said MTN was not only committed to serving its customers with the best services but to ensure they touched many others with love as part of its social responsibilities adding that the company would work to touch many more lives.
He pledged that the company would work even harder in the coming year to serve its customers.
A Deputy Director of Nursing Service-Child Health of the CCTH, Mrs Afia Ofori Attakwah said the gesture was commendable considering that some mothers came into deliver without required items.
Madam Adwoa Mensima, a beneficiary said it was a pleasant surprise. “I was not expecting it. But this is a pleasant surprise. It has really put a smile on my face and I thank MTN for the gift,” she said.
