The chairs are made up of 200 plastic and 20 steel chairs.

They are to be placed at the chief’s palace for use by the people in the area.

A special aid to Mr Borsor, Bogolo Anvo, who made the presentation, said the donation was in response to an appeal by the elders of the town to replace old and insufficient benches at the palace.

According to Mr. Anvo, the consignment was part of 400 chairs estimated to be supplied to the palace in the next two years.

He indicated that the provision of the rest of the furniture would depend on how the first consignment was handled.

 Appreciation

A sub-chief in the town, Tufohene Enwnli Ekyi, who received the chairs, expressed appreciation to their benefactor for his kind gesture.
