The beneficiaries were the Islamic, Presbyterian, Methodist School, and Roman junior high schools; and the Duah Preparatory School.
The items are valued at GH¢12,000.

Presentation

Presenting the items to the schools, Nana Yentetu said the computers were intended to enhance the study of Information and Communications Technology (ICT).

He said the students in the community had to travel a distance to study ICT, a situation which was a challenge to the students, adding that the presentation of the computers would help the students in their studies.

He said the development of every nation depended on the youth and, therefore, there was the need for students of the beneficiary schools to take advantage of the computers to learn hard.

Appreciation

The Headmaster of the Presbyterian JHS, Pastor George Afrifa Asamoah, who received the donation on behalf of the schools, thanked Nana Yentetu for the gesture.

He said the schools in the district were in dire need of computers and, therefore, the presentation could not have been made at a better time.

He appealed to financial institutions and benevolent organisations to support the schools in the district.
