Police roll out nationwide security measures for a peaceful Easter
The Ghana Police Service has implemented nationwide security measures to ensure a safe and peaceful Easter celebration in 2025.
A statement issued by the Director of Public Affairs, Assistant Commissioner of Police Grace Ansah-Akrofi, said officers have been deployed on roads and within communities across all regions to provide security for Easter-related activities.
The statement indicated that special arrangements have also been made in the Kwahu area to cover the Paragliding Festival and other scheduled events.
The Police, therefore, urged the public to be security conscious, remain vigilant, and report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station.
