President Mahama appoints Felix Gyamfi as Acting Director-General of National Service Authority
President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Gyamfi Felix as the acting Director-General of the National Service Authority, effective January 22, 2025.
The appointment, made in accordance with Article 195(1) of the Constitution and the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), is subject to the constitutional advice from the governing board, in consultation with the Public Services Commission.
In a letter signed by Callistus Mahama, Ph.D., Secretary to the President, Mr. Felix has been asked to confirm his acceptance within 14 days.
The President extended his best wishes to Mr. Felix as he assumes this new role to lead the Authority in its mission of youth development and national service delivery.
The appointment has been communicated to key officials, including the Vice President, Chief of Staff, and the Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment.
