The two victims of Monday’s fatal aircraft crash in Tema have been identified as Captain Frank Amoaning Donkor, 36, a flying instructor, and Elijah Ofori Donkor, 25, a university graduate.

Both men were residents of Hebron, Dobro.

The victims were reportedly returning from a meeting in Ho when the tragic incident occurred, leading to their deaths.

A source close to the investigation team disclosed this to the Graphic Online.

The light aircraft, with registration number 9G-ADV, crashed within the premises of the TMA Daycare Centre at Tema Community 1, Site 17, before bursting into flames.

The two occupants were partially burnt in the incident.

Fortunately, none of the pupils or staff of the school was injured.

Meanwhile, the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau, in collaboration with personnel from the Ghana Police Service, the Ghana Armed Forces, the Ghana National Fire Service, and the National Disaster Management Organisation, on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, removed the wreckage from the crash site as they commenced full-scale investigations into the incident.
