Unibank supports Ghana Navy with GHc 30,000

Unibank Ghana Limited has presented a cheque for GHc 30,000.00 to the Ghana Navy in fulfillment of a promise made by the Bank to support the Navy in its development projects.

A statement signed by Colonel Mbawine Atintande, the Director of Public Relations and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra, said the Mr Felix Nyarko-Pong, Chief Executive Officer of Unibank who made the donation, said the donation was part of the Bank’s corporate responsibility.

Mr Nyarko-Pong said the Bank was ready to partner with the Navy in the performance of its traditional duties as mandated by the constitution.

Rear Admiral Geoffrey Biekro, Chief of Naval Staff who received the cheque, expressed appreciation to the Bank and promised that the money would be used to achieve the developmental objectives.

Mr Nyarko-Pong was accompanied by Dr Kwabena Duffour, Executive Advisor of Unibank and Mr Richard Osei Annane, Head of Marketing and Communications.
