“There are many opportunities in Techiman which could attract investors,” Mr Amissah-Arthur told a durbar of chiefs and people of the Techiman Traditional Area at the weekend, to climax their annual Fofie Kesee Yam Festival.

The Yam Festival is celebrated to give honour, praise and thanksgiving to the Almighty God and the ancestors for their bountiful blessing of high yam yield.

The crop is the major stable food in the traditional area.
