The 19-bed, three-storey facility, known as Resolve Medical Services, was founded by a Ghanaian medical specialist, Dr Padi Ayertey, and his wife ,Mrs Linda Ayertey.

The hospital provides special services such as obstetrics and gynaecological care, childbirth classes for pregnant women and their spouses, as well as paediatric care, among others, to mostly corporate  and  self-employed women.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the hospital, Dr Ayertey, said the facility had over the years earned a reputation for providing “a little bit of heaven on earth” for its clients. “Just as our name suggests, we believe that every medical issue that walks through our door must be resolved, “ he said.

According to him, Resolve Medical Services had established a good working relationship with doctors of various specialities at other tertiary facilities to facilitate prompt and efficient service for their clients who might need other sub-speciality services.

“Knowing that women appreciate beauty, we created a beautiful and conducive environment in which women can receive excellent client service during that special moment of their lives and beyond,” he added.

The Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Mrs Marietta Brew Appiah-Opong, who graced the inauguration, commended the couple for undertaking the project and promised that the government would continue to support such initiatives.

According to her, it was important for the private sector to contribute to the country’s healthcare delivery, adding that the example of Resolve Medical Services indicated that it was possible for businesses to thrive in the country.

She advised the youth not to be in a hurry to make money, but rather be willing to sacrifice their time and efforts to build sustainable ventures to make them succeed in life.

Madam Emefa Dakwa, a client of the hospital, expressed excitement and also commended the founders for their intervention.
