ACILA launches Survey on Ghana’s Presidential Election 

The Africa Center for International Law and Accountability (ACILA), a US and Ghana-based research and education think tank, has launched a survey on the 2016 presidential election of Ghana.

“As part of our public service to Ghana, we plan to introduce ACILA Vote Match, a short online quiz which allows voters to answer questions about their views on issues. These views are then matched to the policies of candidates to assist a voter determine which candidate’s proposed solutions to the issues match the voter’s political preferences.” William Nyarko, Executive Director of ACILA said in a statement to Graphic Online. 

The ACILA Vote Match Survey, according to the statement is part of the process of gathering data online and on the field from the electorate to determine the issues for the election. 

The candidates will be asked to provide their proposed solutions to the issues raised by the electorate for the creation of the online quiz. 

“From the news value standpoint, we are excited about the prospect of collaborating with the media, including the influential Graphic Online to publish the data from the survey and share with the public", Mr. Nyarko added.
