Former Ashanti Regional Minister Peter Anarfi dies after car accident
A former Ashanti Regional Minister in John Dramani Mahama's government, Peter Anarfi Mensah has died.
He suffered injuries after a vehicle, which was parked in his house accidentally moved and knocked him down.
He was reportedly cleaning the vehicle at home when it accidentally reversed and hit and trapped him until he was rescued.
He was admitted at the Komfo Anokye Hospital for medical care and died Monday morning.

He was appointed as Ashanti Regional Minister in March 2015 after Mr Samuel Sarpong was sacked together with his Deputy, Joseph Yammin.
He was however removed and the position was given to John Alexander Ackon.
Before becoming Regional Minister, he was the headmaster of Tepa Senior High School.
