Ho Central MP presents copies of Acts, LIs to Ho library
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for Ho Central, Edem Kofi Kpotosu, last Tuesday presented copies of all the Acts and Legislative Instruments passed at the first meeting of the 9th Parliament to the Ghana Library Authority in Ho.
He said the gesture was to help students to become familiar with what goes on in Parliament.
“We make the laws in Accra for the entire nation, so we must make them available to all and sundry, irrespective of where they live,” said Mr Kpotosu.
He encouraged students to read widely to broaden their scope.

During the presentation, the MP realised parts of the regional library still required construction work.
He, therefore, appealed to the government to take prompt steps to ensure the full completion of the library.
The Regional Director of the Ghana Library Authority, Bright Ofori, thanked the MP for the gesture and said the library also needed materials for the visually challenged and other people with disabilities.
Present at the ceremony were the Ho Municipal Chief Executive, Stephen Adom, heads and students of senior high schools, officials of the Ghana Education Service, representatives of the Ghana Bar Association, and members of the public.
