John Dumelo to contest Ayawaso West Wuogon NDC parliamentary primary
Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo, has picked a form to contest the parliamentary primary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency.
The Ayawaso West Wuogon seat has become vacant following the death of the NPP MP, Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko.

According to the Chairman of the NDC in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, Bismarck Aborbi Aryeetey, John Dumelo, Delali Kwasi Brempong, the 2016 parliamentary candidate for the NDC in the constituency, John Acquah
“Currently, four people have picked nomination forms. Our former DCE who contested in 2016, Delali Kwasi Brempong, and we have John Acquah and John Dumelo. I am told one gentleman called Ewenam has also picked a form,” he said.
The nomination form is worth GH¢1,000 while the filing fee has been pegged GH¢10,000.

The deadline for filing is Friday, December 21, 2018, whereas vetting will be on Saturday, December 22, 2018.
The NDC has planned to hold the primary to select a representative on Friday, December 28,

John Dumelo has been a strong supporter of the NDC and played a major role in former President John Dramani Mahama's campaign in 2012 and 2016.
