He has, therefore, asked the delegates in the region to vote massively for him to enable him to steer the affairs of the party to enhance its fortunes in the 2016 elections.

Mr Kumi-Bruce holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Land Economy from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

He said this while introducing himself to delegates and launching his campaign in Cape Coast last Monday. He promised to be a unifier who would ensure that the NPP recaptured the Central Region with the total support of all the regional and constituency officers.

Mr Kumi-Bruce said he would be open and engage in regular interaction with the executive members, constituencies and all members of the party, while ensuring accountability of his stewardship in financial matters.

According to Mr Kumi-Bruce, he would end the marginalisation of the youth and women of the party, as well as factionalism, and forge unity and harmony among all members of the party.

He said when given the nod as the Central Regional Chairman of the party, he would motivate, encourage and reward service to the party and provide visible and accessible leadership.

Mr Kumi-Bruce, who is the proprietor of the Montessori school at Pedu Estate, Cape Coast, is currently the Diocesan Estate Officer of the Anglican Church.
