"Dr. Bawumia has proven his leadership by working closely with President Nana Akufo-Addo to drive Ghana's development agenda," Sir John said. "His experience in governance, economic management, and international relations makes him more than capable of addressing the country's challenges."

Sir John praised Dr. Bawumia's background as a renowned economist and former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, crediting him with helping to stabilise Ghana's economy. "He played a crucial role in implementing the inflation-targeting framework, reducing inflation, and the successful redenomination of the cedi," Sir John explained.

- The digitisation of critical government services, including the National Identification System (Ghana Card), National Health Insurance App, and the Public Procurement Authority's Digital Procurement Platform.

- Philanthropy work, such as building mosques and supporting vulnerable communities.
