NPP Primary: Patricia Appiagyei beats Kofi Jumah at Asokwa Constituency

 Madam Patricia Appiagyei has beaten former Local Government minister, Maxwell Kofi Jumah, to win the New Patriotic Party (NPP) primary at Askowa Constituency in the Ashanti Region.

Madam Appiagyei  got 326 votes as against 158 by Kofi Jumah.

During the voting process, a man whose name was given only as Labista, was arrested by the police for invoking the river deity, Antoa, on some executives of the constituency.
