NPP thanks all for supporting “Wongbo” demonstration

The New Patriotic Party has expressed profound gratitude to Ghanaians for their massive show of support towards Wednesday's ‘historic street protest.’ 

A statement issued by the party Thursday, General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong said; “We particularly thank the Ghana Police Service for their professionalism during the street protest, the media for their extensive coverage, the civil society, artisanal groups and other political parties for their impressive participation.”  

The NPP reiterated its call on “the government to be more responsible, and show leadership in solving this unending power crisis which has caused severe economic hardship on the lives of our people.”
