Vice President begins campaign tour

Vice-President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur yesterday began a three-day campaign tour of the Upper East Region.
He arrived in the evening and held a meeting with Christian leaders.
Today, the Vice President will interact with parliamentary candidates and constituency chairmen of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and later inaugurate the regional campaign team.
He will later meet the Bolgatanga Traditional Council, pay courtesy calls on the Sakoti Naba and the Zuarungu Naba and interact with students of the Bolgatanga Nursing Training College and party functionaries.
On Friday, the vice president will end his tour with a visit to the Landlord, 'Tendaana' of Bolgatanga, pay courtesy calls on the Tongorana, the Nangodi Naba, and the Bonaba.
