Arsenal ready to use Lacazette as makeweight for Partey
French outlet L'Equipe claim Italian duo Juventus and Milan are monitoring the Frenchman's situation closely while Atletico Madrid are hoping to get him in exchange for midfielder Thomas Partey.
Arsenal are confident that 27-year-old Ghanaian Partey will sign but Arsenal are facing huge losses with the Arsenal Supporters' Trust estimating that next year's deficit could be £144million.
Partey is understood to be keen to join Mikel Arteta next season and the Arsenal manager has him marked down as a key arrival.
'We have to have a chat about the next step with him and get his ideas and his feelings. As I said, I am really happy with him,' the Spaniard said following the 2-0 win over Wolves where Lacazette scored the second.
''He's a player that I've always liked, even when I wasn't here, because of what he brings to the team: his qualities, his ability, his work rate. So let's see.
'Now we are in a crucial moment. It's no time to talk about a lot of contract situations. We still have time and we will do it in the right moment.'
Lacazette has started 17 Premier League games this season, playing very much second fiddle to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The 29-year-old has been criticised by fans for his lacklustre performances.
