‘I will hurt Dogboe’

Undefeated Edward Kakembo of Uganda has vowed to demolish his Ghanaian opponent, Isaac Dogboe, in their upcoming clash at the Accra Stadium on Saturday.

The  boxer, a serving officer in the Ugandan army, posted a video on the internet vowing to discipline and pummel the Ghanaian on the night of June 18.

Both fighters have their eyes set on the Africa featherweight title but the 21-year-old Ugandan look poised  for battle.

Dogboe who trains at the Azumah Nelson Sports Complex with his dad, Paul Dogboe as his trainer, hopes to win the fight to set the tone for a world title bout.

“I believe this is my time and I am mentally psyched for the task ahead and prepared to go all out”, he  stated.

Degboe, a WBO Africa featherweight champion, has fought 10 times without a loss  while Kakembo  an Africa Boxing Union featherweight champion is unbeaten.
