Ashgold will win the league — Fianoo

The Chief Executive Officer of Ashgold, Kudjo Fianoo, is optimistic nothing would distract his club from emerging champions of this season’s Premier league.

Aduana Stars are currently breathing heavily down the neck of Asghold, having cut Ashgold’s 12 points lead at the summit of the table to just one point, but the CEO does not appear perturbed and still believes the league trophy is within grasp.

Speaking to the Graphic Sports last Wednesday after his side’s goalless draw against Bechem United, the Ashgold boss was proud about how his side had occupied the top of the table for a long time this season and added that the same momentum would be maintained for the rest of the games.

While praising the playing body for maintaining a calm composure throughout the season, Fianoo also congratulated the supporters and management for their effective collaboration and support which had brought the club this far.

According to him, the team was riding high because of the manner in which management and the playing body had remained focused and determined to wrestle the title from the defending champions, and assured that they would never fail.
