Despite travelling to Nsawam full of determination, Soccer Informants were no match for the well-prepared Blue Skies team, led by Emmanuel Offei Ansah, who scored twice in the 31st and 68th minutes.

The visiting team’s efforts in the second half were undermined by  lack of stamina and suspect fitness as they could hardly string their passes together.

Substitute striker Daniel Boamah increased the lead for the fruits drink company team in the 78th minute and another substitute, Bernard Osei Sarfo, made it four for Blue Skies in the 85th minute.

Edward Kwamena Mensah, coach of Soccer Informants, said he was humbled by the defeat and conceded that his team needed an overhaul to make them more competitive.

He pledged to go back to the drawing board to do his homework and bounce back  a better team for the return leg in two weeks’ time at the Azumah Nelson Sports Complex at North Kaneshie.
