The German side conceded six goals at home and managed just a consolation in the dying embers of the game.
“Tonight was a difficult game for us because Real Madrid is one of the strongest teams in the world and they showed us all our limitations,” Boateng told Mediaset Premium.
Despite the loss, Boateng who was substituted in the second half after suffering some discomfort, praised the Schake fans, saying they were "amazing".
Boateng will be hoping to be part of Ghana's team to the World Cup in Brazil.
