Ghana, US friendly not confirmed

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) says it is yet to receive an official letter from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) in respect of an International  friendly match with the senior national team, the Black Stars.

A report by ESPN.com disclosed that the USSF had scheduled a friendly between USA and Ghana.

But in an interview with the Daily Graphic yesterday, Sannie Daara, spokesperson of the GFA, said, "We are yet to receive an official document over the supposed friendly between Ghana and USA.

"As I speak to you now, we have a lot of big names in football talking to us over a possible friendly but we haven't reached any agreement yet so I can't confirm anything."

Sannie said it would be detrimental to the FA  to name any country now since some of them may opt out.
