Kotoko face All Stars, Bechem in G6 tourney

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have been drawn against defending  Ghana Premier League champions Wa All Stars and MTN FA Cup holders Bechem United in Group A of  the GHALCA-organised G6 tournament which kick off on November 13.

Last Tuesday, GHALCA launched in Kumasi the season-opening tournament which will also see Accra Hearts of Oak in Group B and pitting their strength against Dormaa-based Aduana Stars and Tarkwa-based Medeama SC, who placed second and fourth respectively in last season’s Premier League.

Kotoko will face Bechem in their first match on November 13 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, with Hearts facing Aduana at the Sunyani Coronation Park on the same day.

Match day two will see Bechem facing All Stars in Sunyani with Hearts encountering Medeama in a potential cracker in Kumasi.

The third match involving Group A will witness Kotoko meeting Wa All Stars at the Baba Yara Stadium  with Medeama  facing Aduana Stars at the Coronation Park.

Group A: Asante Kotoko, Wa All Stars, Bechem United

Group B: Hearts of Oak, Medeama SC, Aduana Stars

Aduana vs Hearts (Sunyani), Kotoko vs Bechem (Kumasi)

Bechem  vs All Stars (Sunyani), Hearts vs Medeama (Kumasi)
