Kotoko fans urged to support new boss

A former Operations Manager of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Owusu, has made a passionate appeal to supporters of the club to rally behind the newly-appointed Chief Executive, Dr Kwame Kyei, to galvanise him to build Kotoko into a formidable side.

He told the Daily Graphic yesterday that supporting Dr Kyei would not only goad him to make Kotoko regain its lost glory at the local level, but would also ginger him to transform the club into a fearsome one at the international level.

“It is good that Dr Kyei, who is an accomplished entrepreneur, has taken over Kotoko at this stage. Both past and present managements of the club, as well as supporters from all parts of the country should not sit on the fence. They should rather offer him their unflinching support because supporting Dr Kyei will give him the dynamism to handle Kotoko more efficiently and effectively,” he noted.

Nana Yaw Owusu said in supporting Dr Kyei, the numerous Kotoko fans would also be serving the occupant of the Golden Stool, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II through the newly-appointed chief executive .

“With the right support and encouragement, Dr Kyei will build Kotoko in a way that will put it at the forefront to annex trophies at both the local and continental levels,” he advocated.
