Kotoko host Aduana Stars tomorrow

After thumping Liberty Professionals 2-0 at Dansoman last Saturday, Kumasi Asante Kotoko will wait patiently to settle scores with Aduana Stars at their favourite Baba Yara Stadium tomorrow in a top midweek fixture as they seek to record three consecutive wins to consolidate their dream of annexing this year’s league title.

At the Wa Stadium, back-to-the-summit Wa All Stars will engage troubled Accra Hearts of Oak in an encounter whose outcome could affect the standings at the summit of the league table. If for nothing at all, the Phobians cannot afford to drop a point, especially at this crucial time when their supporters are fuming with rage and calling for the head of Coach Sergio Traguil after losing 3-0 to WAFA and drawing 1-1 with Techiman City in Sogakope and Accra respectively.

The story is similar for Dawu-based Dreams FC, who, after sharing the spoils with Ashantigold last Saturday at home will travel to Sogakope to face WAFA on their “danger-prone” astro turf arena.

At the Tema Stadium, relegation-threatened Inter Allies will need a magic wand to defeat high-flying Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs, who have displayed some sterling performance in the second half of the league after the appointment of Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.

In other midweek matches, CAF Confederation Cup campaigners, Medeama SC, will travel to Bekwai to engage bottom-placed Bechem United, Ashantigold will welcome Liberty Professionals to the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium, Berekum Chelsea host Hasaacas at the Berekum Golden City Park, while Techiman City lock horns with New Edubiase at the Nana Ameyaw Park.
