Kenichi tips Kotoko to win Premier League

Former Accra Hearts of Oak coach, Kenichi Yatsuhashi, believes Kumasi  Asante Kotoko have what it takes to win the Ghana Premier League this season, following their incredible resurgence.

Michael Osei's men experienced a dismal start to the season, picking up only five points in six games under former coach David Duncan, which led to his sacking but they have been able to bounce back under Osei to finish third at the end of the first half of the season.

"No one knows the future but Kotoko have one of best quality players currently in the league, so I can't rule them out," Kenichi told Goal.com in Accra at the weekend.

"They did well to come back to where the supporters wanted after a very difficult start, and I believe with the right approach and togetherness, they can win the title," he added.

When asked which club among the four semi-finalists -Bechem United, Wa Rockets, Liberty Professionals and Okwawu United - he would tip to win the FA Cup, Kenichi was tight-lipped, insisting that each club was a potential winner.

"I can't answer that. Any of the remaining club's can win it so I can't stick my neck out," he stated.
