Son’s Tottenham future uncertain as decision expected after Asia tour

Heung-Min Son's future at Tottenham Hotspur remains uncertain, with a final decision expected after the club’s upcoming tour of Asia.

There has been renewed interest in the South Korean forward, particularly from Saudi Arabian clubs, but he is not expected to leave this summer. His contract was recently extended by one year, pushing its expiry to 2026.

While Tottenham have not ruled out the possibility of a transfer, any discussions regarding his future have been postponed to avoid disrupting the club's pre-season preparations.

Tottenham are scheduled to play two friendly matches during the tour , the first against Arsenal in Hong Kong on July 31, 2025, followed by a game against Newcastle United in Seoul, South Korea, on August 3.
