Having impressed during the “7th Best in Ghana Football Tournament” organised by Proton Sports Services held two months ago, the 18-year-old became an obvious target for scouts from Germany and Belgium but  he opted for the Polish side.

Saddam arrived in Warsaw earlier this week alongside the chairman of Vision FC, Michael Osekere, to sign the deal, having  passed his medicals earlier.

The striker expressed his delight in an interview with the  Graphic Sports, saying it was a dream come true to play for a club like Legia.

“I’m very happy to be with Legia Warsaw and I must say this is a dream come true. I thank God for this great opportunity.

“My target now is to make sure I stay fit to be able to play most of our games and score as many as I can to help my new team to win trophies. I believe with hard work all these would be possible in the name of Allah,” he added.
