Dunamis Sports Academy to hold soccer hunt tomorrow

The Dunamis Sports Academy will on Saturday and Sunday, December 23 to 24, this year, organise trial games to select talented footballers for both local and internal football teams.

The trial games, dubbed: “X’Mass Soccer hunt”, which will be organised at the Ngleshie Amanfro SHS premises from 8am each day is targeting footballers aged between 8 to 23 years.

GFP sports for peace club launched

An initiative to help encourage peaceful coexistence among schoolchildren has been launched at St Peters Mission School in Ashaley Botwe near Madina.

Dubbed: “GFP sports for peace club,” is a programme which seeks to use sports as an entry point to engage with the younger generation through carefully facilitated sport-based games that provide a vehicle for integrated education and behaviour change.

Bechem United are prepared to go the full legal haul to ensure justice after they were slapped with a GH¢105,000 fine by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for stopping StarTimes from telecasting their Premier League match against Great Olympics in Bechem a couple of months ago.

According to the chairman of Bechem United, Kingsley Osei Bonsu, popularly known as Lord Zico, the club’s lawyer, Larbi Amoah, was studying the ruling after which they would file an appeal before next Tuesday.
