The round of fixtures kicked off on Friday in Accra, where Hearts of Oak secured a 1-0 victory over Eleven Wonders. Enock Asubonteng, who scored the only goal of the match, was named the standout player.
On Saturday, Dormaa became the stage for a dramatic turnaround. Aduana Stars, trailing at home to Swedru All Blacks, rallied through Emmanuel Marfo, who netted two second-half goals to hand his side a 2-1 comeback win. His decisive brace earned him the NASCO prize.
Elsewhere, Nations FC were held to a goalless draw by FC Samartex, but midfielder Richard Danso’s commanding display saw him voted man of the match.
At Ho, Heart of Lions edged Bechem United 1-0, with Samuel Boamah Quansah emerging as the game’s top performer.
In Accra, Abdul Maseru Sumail powered Vision FC to a 1-0 victory over Hohoe United, clinching the individual accolade for his tireless effort.
Karela United also made headlines with a hard-fought 1-0 triumph over Medeama. Zaidan Mohammed’s dominant presence on the pitch secured him the award as Karela climbed to second place on the league table.
The final award of the week went to Richard Opoku of Young Apostles, who scored the only goal in their 1-0 win over Dreams FC in Wenchi and was duly recognised as the best player.
Each of the seven winners received a NASCO ultrasonic humidifier and a pressing iron as part of their prize package.
The honours cap an exciting week of Premier League action, with players demonstrating the talent and competitiveness that continues to define Ghana’s top flight.
