Whilst in South Africa, the AFA and Ghana Armwrestling Federation President will also call on the Ghana High Commission in Pretoria.

In addition to his meetings with sports stakeholders, President Osei Asibey will also take the opportunity to visit the Multichoice House, where he will have meetings with SuperSport, Africa’s leading sports broadcaster.
The meetings with SuperSport are aimed at exploring opportunities for broadcasting Armwrestling events and promoting the sport to a wider audience across Africa.

“South Africa is a pit and sanctuary for Armwrestling. We are excited about this visit and the opportunities it presents for the growth and development of Armwrestling in Africa,” he said.
“We believe that by working together with key stakeholders, including sports broadcasters like SuperSport, we can promote the sport, create opportunities for our athletes, and strengthen the AFA’s position as the governing body for Armwrestling in Africa,” he added.
