Ampem Darkoa coach gets Queens role as 30 players report for WAFU camping
Ampem Darkoa coach, Nana Joe Adarkwa, has been appointed the new assistant coach to take over from Mercy Tagoe Quarcoo, who has been promoted as the head coach.
Nana Adarkwa, whose Ampem Darkoa side succumbed a 2-0 lead to lose 2-3 to Hasaacas Ladies in the final of the women’s special competition yesterday, assumes duty immediately as the Queens report to camp in Cape Coast today, to prepare for the upcoming West Africa Football Union (WAFU) Zone B in Abidjan from May 8 -18.
Tagoe Quarcoo’s appointment is on an interim basis as she has been handed the responsibility to lead the Queens to defend the WAFU title they won last year, incidentally under a similar appointment.
