After a close door meeting, the minister  said he had learnt a lot in his interaction with the former sports administrators and expressed the hope to avoid errors during the Black Stars participation at the tournament.

“Football is the passion of the nation, we need to go to the World Cup as one nation and because we are polarised, football unites us and it is important that we go as one people.

“Most of the  former ministers and GFA presidents have been at big tournaments before and are very experienced. Talking to them, I have learnt the pitfalls and will be able to surmount the challenges”, he added.

The minister also disclosed that, the most important lesson he had learnt was how to manage the supporters during the tournament in Brazil.
