The beneficiary clubs, Premier League sides, Berekum Chelsea, and Inter Allies, as well as Division One League side, FC Nania and Jawara Babies ,where the player began his colts career.

The amount is in respect of FIFA Solidarity Compensation for the development of grassroot football.

FIFA regulations stipulate that training compensation be paid to a player’s training clubs, usually the clubs that the said player had featured before the expiry of his contract.

Such clubs are deemed by FIFA to have contributed to the education, training and development of the player and deserved a proportion of the compensation as solidarity contribution.

Following the transfer of Addy from Red Star to Dalian, the  four Ghanaian clubs applied for the compensation through their representatives, Offside Consult, but the China club, though acknowledging their obligations, failed to pay the money.

Subsequently, the clubs through their representatatives, wrote to FIFA, urging the world football controlling body to compel Dalian Aerbin to pay the four Ghanaian clubs.

FIFA, through a letter signed by Octavian Bivolaru, senior legal counsel, in-charge of Discipline Issues and Governance at the Legal Affairs Department of FIFA, ordered the China club to pay the amount.

But after several correspondences to Dalian, between 2011 and 2014, Offside Consult, wrote to FIFA to apply its sanctions, which FIFA obliged, and accordingly demanded that points be deducted from their accumulated points in the China League.

However, before the China Football Association(CFA) could oblige FIFA’s order Dalian last Friday wrote through the representatives of the four Ghanaian clubs indicating it had transfered the amount.
