Chelsea suffer home ban
Berekum Chelsea have been fined and banned for one home match by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association after pleading guilty for misconduct and violence by their supporters.
The club was fined a total of GH¢4,850 following incidents that happened during a 2013-14 Premier League match with Amidaus Professionals at the Golden City Park in Berekum.

Chelsea were found guilty on all three counts for the actions of their supporters during and after their fixture against Amidaus on June 1 in Berekum.
The club were charged with failing to control their supporters when the supporters invaded the tunnel of the dressing room and heckled the goalkeeper of the opposing team, leading to a delay in the start of the game.
They were also charged for failing to control their supporters who rushed onto the field of play and verbally abused the match officials thereby holding up play for 12 minutes after a goal had been disallowed with others throwing sachet water onto the field.
Also the Club failed to control their supporters who rushed onto the field of play, verbally abused and attempted to physically attack the match officials.
