The 44-year-old Serbian took over from campatriot, Dragojlo Stanojlovic, and has made a huge impact on the team, winning two games and losing only one so far.

Speaking to the Graphic Sports on Thursday, the former Red Star Belgrade youth manager praised his players for their performances and urged them to show similar character in thier subsequent games.

I am really happy with the mentality of my players. I believe we are now a stronger team and can meet any club regardless of their status.

I am not saying we will qualify at all cost this season or the next but from the way we have started our season, I think we can qualify to the Premier League sooner than we expected,” he added.
