Dwarfs overpower Aduana

A magnificent second half display by Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs yesterday propelled them to a 2-1 win over visiting Aduana Stars in their Premier League encounter at the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast.

Dwarfs powered two goals in the second half through Bright Luqman and Nicholas Gyan to cancel Richard Mpong’s first half strike.

Yahaya Mohammed set the opening goal for the visitors when he volleyed  a brilliant freekick  for Mpong to beautifully connect home.

Dwarfs came back strongly and striker Luqman overpowered his marker with sheer power to pounce on a drop ball to level up for the homesters.

The Ebusua boys continued to push for the winner despite some great defending by the visitors. However, Luqman rounded up an Aduana defender to set up Nicolas Gyan to get the winner.
