Genoa give Ekuban contract extension
According to well-known football insider Nicolo Schira, Genoa have made an offer to extend the contract of their forward.
They are keen for 31-year-old striker Caleb Ekuban to renew his deal until June 30, 2028.
Ekuban’s current contract is set to expire at the end of this June, and the club is eager to secure his services for the coming years given his experience and contributions to the team.
This season, Ekuban has appeared in 20 Serie A matches, scoring two goals and contributing several assists, demonstrating his value not only as a scorer but also as a player capable of creating opportunities for his teammates.
Genoa’s management is reportedly hoping that a contract extension will provide stability in attack and allow the forward to continue playing a key role in the club’s ambitions in the Italian top flight.
