According to the Communications Director of the GFA, Ibrahim Sannie Daara, nominations for the election to be held in Tamale at a yet to be disclosed venue would be opened on July 13 and closed on July 17.
He said the nomination process would be followed by the vetting committee submitting a report on the various nominees on July 27.
The nominees would then be given the opportunity to file an appeal on the vetting committee's report between July 28-30 after which a decision on the appeal would be announced on August 7.
Mr Daara also added that the decision to hold the Congress in Tamale was as a result of a recommendation made at their last congress earlier this year.
