Ghana defeats USA in Africa Basketball Festival final
In a thrilling showdown at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra, Team Ghana emerged triumphant against a select side representing the USA with a final score of 48-33 in the Africa Basketball Festival on Sunday.
Following the intense clash between the University of Ghana and Accra Technical University, where the latter emerged victorious, all eyes were on the showdown between Ghana and the USA.

Ghana earned their spot in the final after defeating Togo with a score of 43-32, while Team USA secured their place by overcoming France with a final score of 21-17.
The final witnessed a display of talent and skills from both countries, each vying for the coveted championship trophy.
After four quarters of exhilarating basketball, the host nation, Ghana, emerged victorious, defeating their American counterparts with a final score of 48-33. Notably, the Spintex Knights duo of James Amotoe and Treasure Botchway played pivotal roles in securing the win for the Ghanaians.
Ghana's coach, Albert Ato Sam, expressed his team's motivation to face the USA, citing the country's reputation in the sport.
