He revealed further that Sadick Adam, a former defender of Wa All Stars, and Munta Wasiru had also been drafted into the King Faisal set-up to help seal the leakage in the defence which had been their bane in the Ghana Premier League.
The rest are Owusu Agyemang of WAFA, David Owusu Agyei, formerly of Nea Salamia, and strikers Tarique Awudu and Prince Arko, both former players of the club.
Expectation of Faisal fans
Faisal have been disappointing in the Premier League after being reinstated into the elite division, but at the time the League was suspended last month, Faisal had not won a single match. They had secured only six points from 14 matches and were firmly glued to the bottom of the league ladder.
Ironically, Dormaa-Ahenkro-based Aduana Stars and Berekum Chelsea which occupy the first and second positions with 28 points and 25 points respectively from 15 matches, have scored 17 goals each, just like King Faisal.
Gruzah, however, assured the club’s faithful that the team would intensify their training when the ban on social gathering was lifted to enable King Faisal to occupy where they really belong in the League.
