Ghana emerged victorious in the inaugural WAFU B U-20 Girls Cup as they defeated Nigeria 3-1 in a penalty shootout in Kumasi.

The Black Princesses took the lead in the 38th minute of the first half when captain Stella Nyamekye successfully converted a penalty kick.
