Hearts Eric Kumi was sent off after a second yellow card, forcing the Phobians to play with less men in the closing stages of the game.

The Phobians, delight to watch in their strides and showing remarkable resilience in defence, opened the scores through Cosmos Dauda in the 77th minute.

Striker Eric Kumi sealed victory for the Phobians late in the game to send the fans in wild jubilation into the night.

Hearts were strong in defence as Samuel Akrofi and Mustapha Essuman in the midfield ensured that the homesters, who initially dominated the game, were out of danger.

Hard-working midfielder Samuel Yeboah was a delight to watch in the middle of the park and would be disappointed he was unable to cap  another impressive display with a goal.

Medeama midfielder  Malik Akowah failed to put the homesters ahead when he was put through by Daniel Amoah in the second half.
