Inter Allies shock Oly

Inter Allies yesterday produced a magical performance to shock Accra Great Olympics with a 1-0 victory at the Accra Sports Stadium in their First Capital Premier League encounter.

The defeat left Olympics still languishing at the relegation zone while Inter Allies moved to the third spot with 17 points.

A brilliant effort by Mohammed Sherrif who met a corner kick mid air with a calm header was all that the visitors needed to pluck the three points at the expense of the Wonder Club.

Olympics who were disorganised  right from the start of the game rarely created any chance in the first half except for Adom Ampofo’s freekick in the 21st minute which flew over the cross bar.

After recess, Olympics changed their pattern  in search of the equalising goal and in one of their moves, Kwame Boateng beautifully set up Francis Okai in the box but he fluffed the opportunity.
