Konadu invites 25 local Black Stars for camping

Players of Premier League leaders Wa All Stars dominate a 25-man squad assembled by Coach Maxwell Konadu to begin camping from Monday as the local Black Stars team prepare to face the Japanese national Under-23 side in an international friendly game on Wednesday, May 11.

All Stars have six players invited to the camping at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence at Prampram, with AshantiGold contributing three players while Hearts of Oak, Asante Kotoko, Medeama, Dreams FC and Berekum Chelsea are contributing two players each.

According to a GFA statement, selected players include goalkeepers Richard Ofori (Wa All Stars), Robert Dabuo (Ashantigold) and Muntari Tagoe (Medeama).

The defenders are Hafiz Adams, Abdul Ganiyu (both of Wa All Stars), Amos Frimpong, Ahmed Adams (both of Asante Kotoko), Abdul Nashiru (Dreams FC), Daniel Darkwah (Aduana Stars), Kadri Mohammed (Ashantigold) and Nicholas Opoku (Berekum Chelsea).

The midfielders are Gockel Ahortor, Isaac Twum, Evans Mensah (all of Inter Allies), Eric Kwakwa (Medeama), Sabhan Laryea (Hearts of Oak), Latif Blessing (Liberty Professionals), Samuel Tetteh (WAFA) and Emmanuel Osei Baffour (Ashantigold).

Berekum Chelsea’s Sadick Adams is among four invited attackers including Richard Arthur of Wa All Stars, Musah Ibrahim of Hearts of Oak and Lawson Bekui of Dreams FC.
