A 40th minute strike by striker Dauda Mohammed and Eric Donkor’s 71st minute finish sealed victory for the visitors.

Kotoko took the game to the homesters in the early minutes in search of an early opener, but Dauda Mohammed and Kwame Boateng struggled to control the ball in front of goal as the bad pitch rendered ball control dificult.

Kotoko kept piling up pressure on their opponents and restricted Liberty to their half of the pitch.

In the 40th minute, winger Emmanuel Gyemfi saw his curling volley connected by Dauda with a low drive to the blind side of Liberty goalkeeper Eric Andoh.

The visitors added another in the 71st minute when Kwame Boateng found Dauda Mohammed, who latched onto the pass and found winger Donkor to slot home the second goal.
